Rituals’ digital redesign created a growing need for content that could express the richness of the product experience online. For categories such as bath and body, home, and gifting, the challenge was to communicate texture, scent, materiality, and atmosphere in a way that felt both elevated and commercially effective.

Content for a Sensory Brand

To support a more immersive ecommerce experience, we developed a content direction centred on premium lifestyle imagery, sharp product photography, macro textures, and ingredient storytelling. The aim was to create a visual language that brings customers closer to the products while reinforcing the brand’s premium positioning across the site.

Alongside traditional photography, we introduced CGI as part of a broader digital content transformation. This allowed us to create digital-first assets designed for scale, recurring product updates, launches, and personalisation.

Using digital twin pack shots combined with styled backplates, we built a more flexible content system that could meet both creative and commercial needs. Completely art directed and styled by us, the approach extended the brand world while enabling greater consistency, efficiency, and adaptability across categories and touchpoints.
