Humanising AI Recruitment

HeyMilo is an AI-powered recruiting platform helping companies streamline hiring through automated interviews, candidate screening, and workflow automation.

As the company evolved, the existing brand no longer reflected the sophistication of the product or its ambition for growth. The challenge was to create a distinctive identity in a crowded AI landscape while building trust in a category often perceived as technical, complex, and impersonal.

In a category obsessed with automation, we built a brand around trust.

Through brand strategy, positioning, and visual design, I developed a complete identity built around the concept of Human Clarity, the idea that technology should simplify complexity while keeping people at the centre of the experience.

The resulting identity balances intelligence with approachability. Building on existing brand equity, I refined the visual system through an evolved colour palette, a custom symbol, a more distinctive typographic approach, and the introduction of Milo, a character designed to bring personality and humanity to the brand. Together, these elements create a scalable system designed to support product, marketing, sales, and future growth.
